Sunny Bear

Beautiful little lady! I just love her nick name they have for her. "Sunny Bear".

3 of my loves!

I am kind of lazy about taking pictures of my own kids. It is a lot of work to get them presentable and then actually take the pictures lol. I love the result when I do though!

A little bit of fairy dust......

My mom loves to look through my photographs and tell me which ones I should and should not promote etc. I love that I have someone close to me that can be honest about whether or not a certain photo has that spark. She started saying to me that out of each session there is at least one image that has a hint of fairy dust to it. That special spark that makes it touch your heart and speak to your soul. I truly believe that is one of my purposes as a photographer....to capture that spark, light, joy, tear or whatever the moment calls for. This is one of those photos to me. It happens to be of my son Sawyer. He has the biggest heart and is just so full of love and joy.

Melton's Enchanted Tea Party

This was sooooo much fun! Cody the momma of these 3 beautiful children is the owner of an awesome daycare AND a shabby chic/vintage restoration business called The Front Porch. She shared her collection of vintage finds and creations with me so that I could offer a stylized shoot. We had so much fun and the timing couldn't have been better this beautiful tree was in full bloom on the day of the shoot!

Blogging Goal for 2012

Hey everyone! I have been terrible about keeping a blog :( I am going to try much harder to post my favorite sessions on this blog. It is too much to say I will post every session and wedding but my favorites will definetly be posted!
